| Bio: | TOKIO Pimp Post!! Check it out! It's awesome! Friending policy: I love having friends, but I like having friends who want to read and comment on at least some of my entries, and for whom I will feel the same way. But my policy in life is often that I like people who like me, so if you've read my journal - which is mostly unlocked - and think it's a little interesting or that I seem nice (hahaha, what?) or something, feel free to friend me, and drop me a line letting me know you've done so (and maybe why). You can find out more about me below, I tried to write a good little bio. The "liking people who like me" thing is why I rarely will friend someone first, but please feel free to friend me. If you have sort of a minimum of grammar and punctuation and your journal seems a bit interesting to me - which actually often means that it will allow me to get to know you a bit - I'm pretty likely to friend back. But I might not - please don't get upset! I'm quirky about my friends list and I don't automatically friend back! I'm not a secretive person, and I'm practically compulsively honest. So I don't want to write a cryptic bio here, or make up something silly. I want to write a bio that will actually help people decide whether or not they want to LJ friend me. But whenever I try to write something detailed, it seems to change really quickly. Still, I'll see what I can do. I'm a college student and a religion major. But I'm not religious at all. Studying religion is has helped me become more tolerant of those who are very religious, but I have no patience for proselytizing. It's actually something I struggle with--I sort of feel that religion should be mostly private, and when it's shared it should be in the appropriate setting--with others who feel the same way. But others probably just. . . their religion is such a big part of who they are that it comes out all the time. And I'm ok with that. But at the same time, I probably don't want to friend you if god comes up all the time in your journal. It makes me feel left out. OK, so that was more of a "who doesn't want to friend me" than who does. Oops. What else? I really love comic books. Really. Mostly DC comics, but also a couple of independently published things. No Marvel. Although I'm actually really not happy with DC right now. There's still some I enjoy but I'm thinking of giving them a break til they get this whole "let's do shitty things to your favorite characters" out of their systems. And I love classic rock. There's a musician I love from the early 60s to the late 80s. The Ronettes, the Beatles, the Band, T. Rex, Led Zeppelin, Yes, the Ramones, the Clash. But of those, right now my two favorites are the Band and the Clash. And of course, there are other musicians I love, those are just the nice (if loose) chronological spectrum. Now I like Japanese boy bands, but that's more cos they're pretty and have variety shows than for the music. I write about it. . . more and more often. lol. Especially as I begin my campaign to get the world interested in TOKIO. Uhm, I also like good grammar. I mean, a casual style is ok, but I'm not having lots of internet speak on my friends list. Let me think. My journal entries are occasionally long introspective babblings (I'm quite long-winded) but mostly they're retellings of nice or funny or interesting things that have happened to me. Rarely complaining, cos later I want to reread my journal and just think about good things, or something. I don't know. Anyway, it's usually about my life. So, uh, I'll go with that as a bio for now. I've written three, maybe three and a half extremely smutty and kinky JE fanfics, I link them all here. XD and now, for some nerd humor. I love nerd humor, I think I'll add nerd jokes to my bio whenever I find them. Feel free to contribute some nerd jokes to the cause. Joke number one: "Quark! Quark!" "Look out for the quantum ducks!" The bartender announces last call and asks Rene if he'd like one more drink. Rene says "I think not" and disappears. [joke stolen from toomuchtime] 18: Plato and a platypus walked into a bar. The bartender looked at the platypus, looked at Plato, and raised an eyebrow. Plato shrugged. "She looked better in the cave!" 19: At a communist nudist colony, two men were sitting on a porch. One turned to the other and asked, "Have you read Marx?" His friend replied, "Why yes, old fellow. I believe it's these wicker chairs." 20: Another communism joke, because. . . they're hilarious. Q: How many communists does it take to screw in a lightbulb? A: None. The lightbulb contains the seeds of its own revolution.
